Weddings
A wedding is one of life’s great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good wishes, feasting and joy. For Christians, it is also an invitation to share life together in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Marriage is a public and life-long covenant between a man and a woman and it is declared and celebrated in the presence of God and before witnesses.
We look forward to hearing from you if you wish to be married at Flitwick Parish Church. If you or your partner live in the parish, you have a right to marry here whether or not you attend church. You may also be able to marry here if you have strong connections with the church through a qualifying connection.

Blessing of a Marriage
For couples who have a civil wedding, whether in the UK or abroad, we offer a simple service of 'Prayer and Dedication after a Civil Marriage' also known as a 'Wedding Blessing'. It is an opportunity to dedicate your marriage to God soon afterwards. The words of the service acknowledge the commitment you have already made and ask for God’s blessing and guidance in your new life together. As this is not a Marriage service, Banns are not required and there is no exchange of rings or Register to sign.
