Mothers' Union: Join Us

Mothers' Union

Flitwick church has a small but very active branch of the Mothers' Union which meets on the third Thursday of the month at 2.15pm in either the Chapter House next to the Parish Church or a members home. It is open to all, both men and women and we offer a warm welcome to anyone who would care to join us.

Our group supports various aspects of church life including making Christingles and Mothering Sunday posies, sending out Baptism anniversary cards, leading the Sunday Celebration service once a year and taking an active part in the midweek Communion service on the first Wednesday of each month.

Mothers' Union is an international Christian charity which aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide. It works with people of all faiths and none in 83 countries to promote stable marriage, family life and the protection of children. Membership is open to all - single, married, parents, grandparents and young adults - not just mothers or women.
