Flitwick Food Extra 

Flitwick Food Extra is an initiative set up to support families in Flitwick worst hit by the cost-of-living crisis.  By providing easy-to-cook recipes and pre-measured ingredients, Flitwick Food Extra has helped local families cook over 1000 healthy meals, desserts and snacks.

Our team of dedicated volunteers buy the items on their shopping lists so empty boxes can become full boxes of tasty ingredients, recipe ideas and treats to be handed to our lovely families.  On the last day of term, our families join us for a cuppa and a slice of cake before taking hom their boxes, plus any treats that have been donated by our partners.

Can spare a few hours every six weeks?

Do you have any boardgames or puzzles you no longer use?

Can donate some long life items from our shopping list?

In 2022, we were chosen as Flitwick Town Mayor's Charity for the year (see photo above). 

The Mayor and council worked hard to raise an amazing amount of money

to contribute to the wonderful work of Flitwick Food Extra.
