Flitwick Food Extra 

Flitwick Food Extra is an initiative set up to support families in Flitwick worst hit by the cost-of-living crisis. By providing easy-to-cook recipes and pre-measured ingredients. Flitwick Food Extra has helped local families cook over 1000 healthy meals, desserts and snacks.

On the last day of the school term, our team of dedicated volunteers buy the items on their shopping lists so empty boxes can become full boxes of tasty ingredients, recipe ideas and treats to be handed to our lovely families.

If you can spare a few hours every six weeks we would love to have you join our team. If you have any boardgames or puzzles you no longer use, consider donating them to us. To contact us email foodextra@flitwickchurch.org

In 2022, we were chosen as Flitwick Town Mayor's Charity for the year (see photo above). 

The Mayor and council worked hard to raise an amazing amount of money to contribute to the wonderful work of  Food Extra.
